It is known that while tweeting in support of the farmer’s movement, climate activist Greta Thunberg shared a toolkit on Twitter, after which Delhi Police registered a case and arrested another climate activist Disha Ravi from Bengaluru. Disha has been accused of several serious allegations, including editing the toolkit।

Earlier, a Delhi court on Friday sent Disha Ravi to judicial custody for three days while hearing the toolkit case. The Delhi Police produced Ravi before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Akash Jain after the five-day detention period ended, from where he was sent to jail. Police said that Ravi’s detention is not required at the moment and further investigation may be required of Ravi after co-accused Shantanu Mukul and Nikita Jacob are involved in the investigation।

The police said that during interrogation in custody, Ravi continued to be sarcastic and tried to blame the co-accused. Police told the court that Mukul and Jacob have been asked to appear before the investigating agency on 22 February।

Significantly, Disha Ravi was arrested from Bengaluru on 13 February. After this, the direction was taken by the police from Delhi court on remand for five days. Police told the court that the toolkit case was a serious matter. People from different parts of the country are involved in this episode.
