It has been seen in the budget of 2024-25 that India has extended financial assistance to neighboring countries. It should be noted that India has been providing assistance to neighboring countries and other developing countries through its bilateral and multilateral aid programs for a long time.
India has presented an aid budget:
Central Budget 2024-25 India has presented an aid budget of Rs.5080.24 crores to help other countries. Which includes Bhutan, Myanmar, Afghanistan and Africa, Central Asia, South Asia and Latin America. However, India has provided the most assistance to Bhutan.
2068.56 crores of assistance has been received by Bhutan. It has provided 700 million to Nepal, 400 million to Maldives, 370 million to Mauritius, 245 million to Sri Lanka, 200 million to Afghanistan, 200 million to African countries, 120 million to Bangladesh, 40 million to Seychelles and 30 million to Latin America.
