PM Modi expresses grief over loss of lives in Bihar road mishap
Six people have died in the havoc of speed in Katihar district of Bihar Deputy CM cum Finance Minister Tarkishore Prasad. A day earlier on Monday, 5 died here in a road accident. The latest case is from the Kursela police station area, where a truck parked on the Kosi bridge on NH 31 was hit by a high-speed Scorpio. In the horrific accident, six people died on the spot while three were seriously injured. PM Modi has also expressed grief over the incident।
This tragic accident occurred at 6 am on Tuesday. All the deceased were residents of Rosda in Samastipur district. According to the information, all were members and relatives of the same family and came to Phulwaria Chowk in Katihar to tease the boy for the girl. It is said that the driver could not control the vehicle and confronted the standing truck due to excessive speed on the Kursela Kosi bridge while returning।
The dead were identified as Shivji Mahato 45 years, Nandlal Mahato 25 years, Rajkumar 30 years, Ajay Mahato 45 years, Ramswaroop Sah 45 years, Santosh Kumar 42 years as a driver, while injured Kailash Mahto 40 years, Arjun Mahato 50 years, and Sunil Mahato 35 years has been referred to Katihar Medical College because of the critical situation।
