PM Modi, Biden Discuss in Phone Call
India-US bilateral relations were emphasized in the telephone conversation between the two leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared a post on social media.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Poland and Ukraine. President Biden spoke to Prime Minister Modi on several global issues during his visit to Poland and Ukraine. Modi has made it clear that India is in favor of a solution through dialogue to bring back peace and stability, especially in the war zone Ukraine. Modi has reiterated that both countries are committed to establishing democracy, law enforcement and strengthening public relations with India and the United States.
On this occasion, both leaders also discussed the issue of instability in Bangladesh. Both Modi and Biden have emphasized on the establishment of law and order in Bangladesh and the protection of minorities, especially Hindus living there.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Poland on August 21. Then Modi went to Ukraine on August 23. He traveled to Kiev by train for 10 hours from Poland. This was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first visit to Ukraine amid the Russia-Ukraine war. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky here. The two leaders met in Kiev. Zelensky welcomed Modi.
