New Delhi : BJP MP and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir has donated Rs 1 crore for the construction of the Ayodhya Ram temple. East Delhi MP Gautam Gambhir said, “At least the old issue is over with the construction of the Ram temple. The construction of the temple will pave the way for unity and peace. My family and I have made a small contribution to the construction of the temple. ”

Fundraising for the construction of the Ram temple is underway. On the first day of the campaign, President Ramnath Kobind donated Rs 5 lakh. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and his family donated Rs 5,11,114. Many leaders and actors, including Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh, Bihar Governor Fagu Chauhan, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, have also donated.

According to the Shriram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, the construction of the temple will be completed in 36 to 40 months once the foundation stone of the Ram temple is completed.

According to sources, on the first day, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat held a puja at the Balmiki temple in Delhi. Surendra Bahadur Singh, a former MLA from Tejgaon in Rae Bareilly district, made the biggest contribution. He has given a check for Rs 11,11,111. The World Hindu Council was at the forefront of the Ram temple construction movement.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Sunday donated money for the construction of the Ayodhya Ram temple. Akshay Kumar himself informed about this by releasing a video on social media।
