Rohit, who was injured in the IPL, was out of the One-Day and T20 series and was sweating to regain his lost fitness at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore।

The Mumbai batsman has been deemed fit to play on Friday। The hamstring injury-hit hitman will not be part of the opening two Tests. He will fly to Australia on 14 January, although no official statement has been released yet। The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is beginning with the day-night Test match to be played in Adelaide from 17 December।

At NCA, Rohit was not only working on a hamstring injury but was also trying to reduce his weight so that any such injury could be avoided in the future। The hitman played the final despite being injured in the IPL। Due to this injury, he was not part of T20 and One-Day series against Australia. After this, he has also dropped out of the opening matches of the Test match।

Today, the National Cricket Academy (NCA) submitted its final report to BCCI regarding Rohit’s fitness. According to the report, Rohit is fit and he can now go on an Australia tour। Rohit is currently in Mumbai. And he will leave for Australia on 14 December.

Rohit’s fitness test was done under the supervision of NCA Director Rahul Dravid. Dravid was given the responsibility of giving him a fitness certificate Under Australian government rules, he will remain in seclusion for 14 days before practicing for the last two Tests to be held in Sydney (7–11 January) and Brisbane (15 January to 19 January)।
