TMC has fielded Pradeep Baski from the Habibpur constituency. Voting will take place in Malda district on April 26 and 29 in two phases. Malda district has 12 assembly seats. In the 2016 elections, the Trinamool Congress was cleared in the district and the BJP got two seats. The Congress won a maximum of eight seats. The BJP was in second place in the seat case. and the rest party have won one of each seat।

In the run-up to the election, the TMC has given priority to famous elephants, women, and youth groups. The party has announced its list of candidates for 294 of the 291 seats. The other three seats were given to their allies।

In the first phase, elections will be held in West Bengal on March 27 for 30 seats out of 294. The second round of voting will be for 30 seats, and the third round of voting will be held on April 6 for 31 seats.

Voting will take place on April 10 for 44 seats and on April 17 for 45 seats, on April 22 for 43 seats in the sixth round, on the seventh round for 36 seats on the 26th, on 29th April for 35 seats and on eight round for 35 seats. The results will be announced on May 2।
