The e-version of the voter ID card will set to lunch today-
New Delhi : The electronic version of voter ID cards will be lunch by Law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday. you can be downloaded this digital ID card on a mobile phone or computer. The Election Commission said in a statement that the e-mail photo ID was a digital version of the election photo ID. It can be secured through digital lockers.and it’s a non-editable digital version of the elector photo identity card।
This digital version of the voter ID card can also be printed in the Portable Document Format (PDF) format. The commission said in a statement on Sunday that Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad would inaugurate the e-EPIC program. It will also distribute e-copies and voter ID cards to five new voters।
The statement said it took time to print hard copies and deliver them to voters. But now voters can easily get voter IDs in the system. Aadhaar cards, permanent account numbers (PAN) cards and driver’s licenses are available in digital as well।
