Barsha has filed a complaint in the SDJM9 court alleging torture in the name of her husband Anubhav and demanding money for maintenance. She has even been accused of domestic violence, including mental and physical abuse.

According to official website sources, the registration number for the case was CR4L4M4C No. 94/2020, which was registered on August 7. The lawsuit was filed under sections 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 22 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005.
