A top official said on condition of anonymity that Sachin Vaze had confessed to being part of the explosive-laden Scorpio group on Carmichael Road (near Antilia) on 25 February. ANI also stated that Vaze has been arrested under sections 286, 465, 473, 506 (2), 120B of the IPC, and section 4 (a) (b) (I) of the Explosive Substances Act 1908. They or sections have been charged on February 25 for being involved in planting a car full of explosives outside Mukesh Ambani’s house.

What did the court say:-The court say that there was prima facie evidence and material against him. There is a need to interrogate him by taking custody. Along with this, the court also ordered the investigating officer to appear during the next hearing. During this time, the court had also made it clear that if the investigating agency wishes, Sachin can arrest Vaze. The next hearing of the case will now be held on 19 March. Newton had some accessories in his car from Mansukh Hiren, whose bill was made of 2 lakh 80 thousand. Newton did not pay the money and in return gave his 13-year-old car to Mansukh.
