New Delhi : Delhi Police have announced the award for actors Deep Sidhu, the mastermind behind the violence at the Delhi Red Fort during a farmers’ tractor rally on January 26. Delhi Police has announced a cash prize of Rs 4 lakh for 3 other people including actors Deep Sidhu. They were involved in setting up religious flags at the Red Fort and inciting people to violence.
Police have announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for Buta Singh, Sukhdev Singh, and two others who were involved in the violence. The Delhi Police has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by BK Singh of the Joint Police Commission to investigate the violence. The SIT team includes three other DCPs, Jai Turki, Bishan Singh, and Monika Bharadwaj.
After January 26, the main accused, Deep Sidhu, and two others who wore hoisted religious flags at the Red Fort are missing. Surprisingly, Deep Sidhu is releasing the video on social media but police have yet to arrest him. Delhi Police have released photos of 12 people who caused the violence.
According to sources, Police are still searching for the three suspects. Thirteen crime branch teams are investigating the case. These have identified more than 50 stains. 14 tractors have also been seized so far since the violence. Police are investigating. The culprits will not be released under any circumstances, police said।
