Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Nana Patole Resigns-

Mumbai : Congress leader Nana Patole on Thursday resigned as Maharashtra assembly speaker. Nana Patole is set to become the next state Congress president. All that remains is a formal announcement. Patole on Thursday handed over his resignation letter to deputy speaker Narhari Zhirwal.

Patole is an MLA from Sakoli seat in Bhandara district. According to reports from the party, Patole will be the state president of the Congress and will be replaced by Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat. In Maharashtra, there is the Shiv Sena, the Nationalist Congress Party, and the Congress government. A delegation led by Thorat recently met the party leadership in Delhi.

On the other hand, after Patole’s resignation, politics is in full swing for the Assembly Speaker. The name of the cabinet Minister, Vijay Wadettiwar, is at the forefront of the Congress for the post of Speaker. However, it is rumored that the Congress is seeking the post of Deputy Chief Minister in the Great Development Aghadi government, giving the post of Assembly Speaker to Shiv Sena. But it has been refuted by both the Aghadi government and the Congress।
