New Delhi: Former Indian captain and IPL team Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni have tested himself for COVID-19 on Wednesday. Dhoni’s corona test took place during the day and his report is expected to arrive by today. But as of press time, no information has been released on Dhoni’s corona report. Before leaving for the UAE, all eight franchise teams are testing the COVID-19 of their players, assistant members, and management members, on the basis of which Dhoni took his COVID-19 test yesterday.

The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) could not start on March 29 this year due to the coronavirus epidemic. The 2020 IPL will now be played in the UAE from September 16 to November 10. All franchise teams are involved in the preparation of the IPL. Recently, it was reported that Dhoni was practicing batting through a bowling machine at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi.

Dhoni is expected to attend a training camp to be held at Chepak Stadium from August 16. The Chennai Super Kings are planning to launch a training camp in Chepak for all players from August 16. According to reports, CSK is organizing a 15-member training camp in Chepak. The camp will be held from September 14 to September 20.

Before the start of the camp, all players will have to undergo a COVID-19 test in their home town. They will then arrive in Chennai and test again on August 14 and 16. All players will then travel to the UAE on August 22.
