Plasma Bank to open at IGH: Chief Minister made a big announcement after reviewing corona pandemic situation

Bhubaneswar: Plasma Bank to open IGH in Rourkela. This will provide plasma therapy to critically ill patients being treated in different districts of western Odisha. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik while reviewing the management status of COVID 19 in Sundargarh district.

In addition, the number of beds in Rourkela’s COVID Care Centers will be increased from 700 to 1,700. The DMF has so far spent Rs 20 crore on COVID management in the district, while another Rs 5 crore has been sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to develop the infrastructure of COVID Hospitals and COVID Care Centers.

The Chief Minister also reviewed the coating management system in the Jajpur district. The Jajpur district administration has spent Rs 13.5 crore on DMV management, while another Rs 5 crore has been sanctioned for the district from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The chief minister has announced an increase of 250 beds for corona treatment in the district.
